Coming together in the fight against COVID-19
From the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working tirelessly to support our local communities as they struggle to manage the impacts of this deadly disease. º£½Ç´óÉñ immediately ramped up production of °Õ²â±¹±ð°ì® for protective apparel and in April 2020, we launched the #TyvekTogether program, making available a limited-release Tyvek® ´Ú²¹²ú°ù¾±³¦â€”T²â±¹±ð°ì® 1222A—to help increase the overall supply of Tyvek® to the front lines.
During the height of the personal protective equipment (PPE) shortage in 2020, we donated more than 148,000 °Õ²â±¹±ð°ì® protective coveralls to local hospitals in our global communities. And along with our partners, we have now produced more than 100 million PPE garments and counting—providing healthcare workers and first responders with the protection they need.

º£½Ç´óÉñ today announced an expanded partnership with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves communities before, during and after disasters and crises. This deeper partnership includes donations of °Õ²â±¹±ð°ì®Ìýprotective apparel, personal protective equipment (PPE) applications training and educational support, safety-oriented content for their website, access to safety personnel, potential volunteers and awareness-building inside and outside of º£½Ç´óÉñ.
As part of the #TyvekTogether program, º£½Ç´óÉñ and Lowe’s donated rolls of °Õ²â±¹±ð°ì® 1222A to support businesses across the United States, such as Merrow Manufacturing, Thermaxx and Studio Displays, who were transforming their operations to help supply healthcare organizations with needed PPE.
Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest not-for-profit health plans in the United States, was facing a critical shortage of PPE during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and availability from traditional sources was limited. º£½Ç´óÉñ collaborated with Home Depot to donate rolls of °Õ²â±¹±ð°ì® 1222A to Kaiser Permanente who then worked with Lefty Production Co. to produce the needed isolation gowns.
As part of our efforts to combat the pandemic, º£½Ç´óÉñ donated 243,000 pieces of PPE in 2020, leveraged partnerships to support the needs of local communities and did new things like producing, packaging and donating about 45,000 liters of hand sanitizer.
In these unprecedented times, it is vital that we come together to help protect those on the front lines battling the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we don’t just rise to the challenge, we redefine how to overcome it.
